We shouldn't let homosexual people get married or become religious leaders, but I don't think completely ignoring LGBTQ+ people is going to make the problem go away either. We need to figure out how to get them back to how God wants them to be.

I don't think they are any less as people but I don't think the church should be capitulating to 'some' that want not merely tolerance but total affirmation and acceptance of what the church has always taught was a sin. Outside of church and religion as it pertains to the Catholic Church I am very much a live and let live person.

Based on my Month of the Sacred Heart post, it seems that this is the case. If you're a Christian, then why do you treat other Christians who are against the LGBTQ with malice? Jesus ate with sinners, performed miracles for sinners, and saved sinners because He loves us. Even though I severely disagree with your beliefs, I won't treat you with hatred.
