I was driving OTR on the east coast as an "essential worker" during covid and it was hillarious how many times I had masked up lunitics make a point of pulling up beside me and going into complete rage over the fact that I wasn't wearing a mask alone in my truck where I lived alone 24 hours a day. If they didn't have their masks on, the inside of their windshiled would have been covered with their rabid foaming at the mouth making it doubly hard to text and drive.
