If it were legal, I'd carry both, but the problem is, alcohol and firearms just don't mix, because you could end up causing harm to yourself or someone else, whereas when you're sober, you can just... not do that. Besides, if a threat arises while you're drunk, it will ruin your aim and coordination.
Having said that, very few people actually OC a rifle, other than avid pro-2A activists, and people with severe compensation issues.
