Jewish people have many flaws in their religion. They do not go to heaven, because they don't believe Jesus is the Messiah, and are still waiting for one that will never come. The Bible also says to not believe any other gospel, even if it came from an angel. Their Holy books are not on the same level of the bible.

The earth didn't exist for 10000 years, we can scientificly prove that the universe has been expanding, by calculating the rate that the edge of the observable universe is moving away from us, proving that the universe is billions of years old. The earth only seems to be billions of years old, because God created it with age. He made Adam and Eve start their lives at adulthood, not as a newborn baby. That is how he made the earth. It is really between 7 and 10 thousand years old. Scientists have no real way of proving otherwise, also because the Bible is more important than what anyone says.

Heaven is not an idiotic idea, but it is a truthful reality. The Bible says just being in the presence of God is the best thing ever. There is no "years" in heaven, because we will be fully righteous in eternity and time has no meaning.

scientists are people funded by a primarily christian government to reasearch and learn more about things. You are simply part of a minority stuck on old beliefs. Scientists are people who are respected because they have been right before, and prove themselves right now. I trust the government, scientists and science as a whole more than an old book.

If heaven were to exist it would be meaningless. you say people would be righteous in eternity, but there would be simply too many dead people for anyone to be anywhere near god. Even if only a small percentage of people, even if half of everyone who was christian made it to haven, there would still be millions of people.

also, as a sidenote i forgot to include, the earth isn't billions of years old, it's million. Also, in the bible god only creates earth, no other planets, no solar systems, no galaxies and no universe because it wasn't until over a thousand years later that people invented telescopes, so the people who wrote the bible didn't know any of that existed.
