The US won most of the major battles in Vietnam. With modern warfare convincing the world you are winning on the physical battlefield is around as important as actually winning on the physical battlefield.

The US lost Vietnam due to being worn down by determined gruella fighters and not having public support. Russia has time on it's side and major public support for the conflict. The frontlines will remain stagnant until either NATO's infrastructure breaks down or Russia runs out of interest in gaining new ground and simply holds onto the current regions it annexed.
Russia legally cannot abandon its new territory so if Russia gives up it will only end in the Donbass, Kharkov or Kherson region.

Russia has pretend public support (spoiler alert: threatening the people enough increases poll numbers via fear not popularity). Russia can give up the territory it stole. Ukraine is advancing slowly and among the west there is widespread support for Ukraine. I don’t see how the western support infrastructure would collapse since as time goes on, the west will get better at it and already the west has given a significant amount of aid (From Ukraine’s perspective not from Western Perspective)

Ummm no. If Russians wanted to they could overthrow their government. If they're happy to go and fight another regime then they are happy to fight against their own if they so wished. Watching a few pro-western fanbois on YouTube who live in Russia doesn't represent all 144 million Russian's who don't feel the same way.
Russia is a democracy and only with the consent of the Russian people do the Russian government act with full concern and regard to the population. Russia operates on law not on kingship.

Thanks to the pentagon leaks we know that NATO is quickly running out of equipment and weapons to supply ukraine for their future offensives. ukraine will not win, I can guarantee that, this war is about how much the US can break Russia indirectly and the longer ukraine holds out with western supplied arms the better for Washington this will be.

But the US does not want to break, Russia completely as the US is well aware of what happens shortly after and the consequences of pushing Russia too far.

Ukraine can't beat Russia and that's been proven given that they can't retake a single city in 4 months despite having unlimited support from the worlds most powerful nations.
