American hypocrasy:

17 yo working at a Mcdonalds=Child labor

18 yos being dragged into the military against their own will=definatley not child labor

Gosh its like America does not understand teenagers.

Actually Iowa and another state are loosening child labor laws.

During the Vietnam War, Americans couldn't even vote till the age of 21!

Its like Americans dont understand that adolescence ends at the age of 20. They keep whining about "child labor" issues yet they dont do anything with issues regarding 18 and 19 yos. 18 and 17 are literally the same age for Christ's sake.

Pretty much, if not past 20.
My conclusion from what my exes told me about their dating experiences was that thye didn't start growing up till they were 27. I mean mature decision making-wise.
