Leftism is by definition a rejection of reality. It's arrogance and narcissism of the highest magnitude. To believe adamantly that your feelings are more important or that your own personal turmoil can trump reality is a profound degree of delusion.
You have a short memory. This was 2017. She was reacting to the White House press pool reporter (writing on behalf of the entire press pool) who erroneously reported (and later retracted) that Trump was removing the bust of Martin Luther King Jr. from the Oval Office.

The statement being made in 2017 is not short memory - it the substance of what was said. She was responding to fake news reports that Trump removed the bust of MLK.
