one of Redi’s main attacks is being able to shoot lasers so he’s more of a long ranged weapon character than a melee character, although in the sticktator comic Redi transformed his staff into a sword and stabbed the sticktator
The Hunter had guns because he didn’t really give a shit whether they wanted a fight or not, he just wanted them dead, the only reason he had the phantasmal sword imbedded in his armor is for an emergency
tired; nothing; I think I just figured out why so many bossfights characters wield swords or some other melee weapon rather than guns. a gun simply implies you have something deadly, while a sword implies you have something deadly and the skill to use it. so you are certain of exactly how screwed you are.
