And he didn't do it. He did not use the law for his own ends. Dems said they would; and they did use and manipulate the law for their own political ends against Trump. So following through in this case is nothing to brag about unless one belongs to a Party that despises the Constitution and everything for which it stands . . . you know, like the political Left.
But isn't that what he ran on? Isn't that what he promised to do? So, he just sat by, being the good guy to the terrifying "Crooked Hillary", while 11 of his own associates where charged with crimes? Wouldn't that make him incompetent, at the very least? Or a complete p***y at worst?

While I'm sure there are exceptions, you'll find that most of us liberals, don't give a f***. If someone is guilty of a crime - prosecute them! While it is always disappointing to find out someone you liked and/or supported isn't who you thought they were (Bill Cosby totally bummed me out!) we don't want criminals in our government, let alone on our own "team". It would make us look bad to condone it. We still have the "shame gene". Hmm. Are we the Law & Order party now?
We toss our own all the time, if we think they're wrong. Anthony Weiner's career was over. For one d*** pic. We have a zero tolerance for impropriety. Our allegiance is to the country. Not to any one person.
