Aye, individual streams are an apt analog of our 50 nation-states and their myriad opposing rules being applied in parallel. That I'm used to. My gripe is when rules with little coherent meaning are leveraged against seemingly permissible content on my own fuxking stream.
The site gods would be better off going with the Motion Picture Association film rating system's description for pg-13, or ESRB's description for Teen. Both cover the exact same age cutoff as imgflip and both are suitably vague and subjective. At least then there'd be some truth in advertising. If at the end of the day their policy boils down to "meh?", they should do everyone a favor and fxcking own it.
And yes, niche streams tend to have their own...let's say "culture and personality". There are reasons I stay away from certain states, too.
