It's not "x" that needs solved it is "y"

Why do they want people to believe that voting laws are racist?

Oohhhhh it's "y". Now it is making sense. LOL

You would have to ask the Democrats to untangle that twisted logic. Any time anyone suggested we pass tougher laws to reduce or eliminate voter fraud, the Democrats run around screaming racism. Somehow it disenfranchises black voters. I am thinking that Democrats think that all black voters commit election fraud. If you make it harder to cheat then you are "disenfranchising" black voters. Dems have a real problem explaining how they are not the racists they love to call everyone who does not march in lockstep with them.

It isn't racist to qualify a person as a citizen and a voter limited to one vote each.

That's how sane people think.

Democrats use racism as a smoke screen for everything the right does that they don't like. Especially when it comes to trying to eliminate voter fraud. Everything we do is countered with racism or we are trying to disenfranchise black voters. It's ridiculous.

I think minorities have caught on to the democrat strategy - pander til election day then forget you exist until next the campaign season.

That's what I am seeing also. Up until John F Kennedy ran for president the vast majority of blacks were Republican. Kennedy made a deal with Martin Luther King to get him to switch parties so that JFK would get the black vote. MLK switched parties but the black migration from Republican to Democrat didn't really happen until Lyndon Johnson's Great Society (aka welfare) plan. Johnson decided rather than fighting against blacks he would use them. Welfare was created, not to help the poor, but to buy votes. And the poor, looking for "free" money jumped on that band wagon. Poor women realized they could get more money by having more children and that if they had a husband then they would get less or no money. And that set up the destruction of the black families in America. And with broken marriages comes all of the problems associated with it. And the Dems just kept playing on that because the could buy more votes.

Now we are at a point where America is the least racist we have ever been but the left keeps preaching that we at the worst we have ever been. If they don't keep as many people believing that then they are over as a party. People will leave them in droves.

I think there is a fairly sizable exodus going on in the past 10 or 15 years of blacks returning to the anti-slavery party their predecessors used to belong to. But that is just my opinion and I could be wrong.

If it turned out you were wrong at least your opinion was well thought out and articulated.

The irony of the Trump is a racist trope is that he was a democrat for years and switched parties to have a chance at the nomination

That's the problem with party politics - its to give your group the win instead of people.

The founders recognized this and cautioned against it, but....

Presidential elections are the dog n pony show.

The @ssess in senate seats are ones plotting against our freedom.

It is entirely possible that I am wrong. It's just my opinion based on my observations. And I really do hope that more and more blacks and people of all other races start seeing through the Democrats agenda because it is truly destructive.

So true. If there is better qualified Libertarian or Constitution party candidate for anything then I will vote for them. I am not loyal to the Republican party because they certainly aren't loyal to the American people. All politicians are loyal to their re-election and not the people the serve. They use smoke and mirrors to make them look good to their constituents but that is only so they can retain their office and nothing else.

Retaining office and getting rich from special interest groups lobbying them to pass laws favorable to them, the people be damned
