Optimism that you can teraform a planet needs to take a back seat to the reality that you cannot use Q-Tips without instructions

Let's face it, if John Wayne said he was going to make a manly western styled deodorant, you'd probably believe he could do it. But if someone who thinks working more than 5 hours a day is a crime or can't figure out Q-Tips says they will cool the planet's temperature, well..... you have justifiable doubts right?
