Forgive me if I'm being rude, but what does fnaf world have to do with the main series?
It's supposedly a spinoff. They didn't really do anything creepy with it other than just an eerie opening compared to the rest of the game and FOXY.exe for the halloween update.

There's lore relevance (gives us the context on Old Man Consequences, and also sets up Happiest Day)
