Libetarians want to lower the marriage age in order to increase birthrates.
Republican/Red States tend to average younger marriage age rates.

Why would anyone want to lower the age to marry? We are already overpopulated enough, and if the woman is too young, she wouldn't be able to make the baby.

Because US birthrates are lower, so Libetarians are concerned that our citizens are gradually getting displaced by immigrants.

They don't want to lower it that low, not to children approaching levels too young to have children.

How about instead of lowering it so we don't get displaced by them, we close the border and make the migrants come in the right way, instead of letting them crossing illegally.

How about we stop ALL immigration?

Most illegal immigrants tend to arrive here on airplanes anyways. Melania Trump did and overstayed her Visa. So did my father. Granted, this would have nixed my getting born (as well as most people I grew up with), but none of them should stay, illegal AND legal.

Reality, however, is that we need immigrants for everything from cheap labor to new small business starts (70% of them are by foreigners!) to science, med, & tech development. When was the last time you went to a Dr Tom Smith or heard of new tech gadget development by someone with a name you can pronounce? Do you know anyone you grew up with whose first summer job was picking lettuce for less than minimum wage? Not to mention a growing population means a growing consumer base. Our population would be shriniking without immigrants, which would be a good thing, only not for those profiting off a growing economy.

Actually, since title 42 ended, millions of people have been crossing the border illegally and not coming by plane. Actually due to new rules, those who cross the border will be denied asylum if they did not first ask for it from another country en route. Unexpectedly, mind you, the numbers crossing has been halved.

Visa. Specifically a Work Visa. That means she came legally. Ovestaying means she stayed AFTER said Visa expired. That's illegal. Same as my father did. Came legally, stayed a couple of years after illegally. Both married an American citizen to get their papers.
