CA just needs to rake more!

What's this about?

The left are concerned about carbon footprint, and to increase the use of electric everything. And always screaming 'trust the science'. Well the science says the trees reduce carbon dioxide, yet their solution it to cut down trees to install solar. Simple irony.

What trees is this bogeymen 'Left' (whatever that means) having cut?
I found an article about Joshuas being cut in 2015, and locals protesting that. That was by a money making company.
There was also stuff about people wanting branches and whatnot cut from next door properties obscuring the sun from their panels, and a church debating cutting a small forest on their property for that purpose because trees aren't God's creation or some crap

There are plans for 3k acres of solar farms to be installed just north of Los Angeles, a lot of which is desert, but some forests.
In Massachusetts, the state Department of Energy Resources estimates that approximately 2,500 acres of trees have been cut down to put up solar panels in the last 10 to 15 years.

In my opinion, solar is useless. Nuclear is the way to go. But Newsom is shutting that down...
Most democrats are all about "going green", but are going about it the wrong way. There's no possible way to reduce or eliminate oil products without sending everyone back to the stone age. Everything we have is either made from or with oil products.
The amount of solar energy produced in 2,400 acres can be achieved by a propane plant on 200 acres.
But hey, let's clear the lands which in turn kills animals, process the oils for the photo cells and the plastic/rubber for the copper. Utilize the coal used to process the metal frames. Just to make everyone feel warm and fuzzy about "solar".
