Newsflash - China doesn't invade other countries, militarily...they merely act (when they do) to maintain their national security interests, against the threats posed by the once Global and Monopolar Hegemonic Empire - which has an awful history of invading other countries.

When the Japanese invaded China, they did it using Taiwan as an operating base. Don't think for a moment, that the Chinese have forgotten these facts.
The US acts like Cuba is its Island, with a rebel Government in charge currently - though in fact, that isn't the case. And the US still maintains a base at Guantanamo Bay, which it uses as an offshore torture center, where the Constitution doesn't apply. In fact, the lease on that base is up. Cuba refuses the US' checks to maintain their possession of the base, and wants the US out. The US REFUSES leave.
Meanwhile the Chinese are rumored to be in talks to quite legally put a training base in Cuba...and boy is the US pissed. It's almost like International Law means nothing, and that "The Rules-based International Order", is just a series of hypocritical rules, they make and break, at random, as it suits them - while imposing their will on the World, as part of their Imperialist New World Order prerogatives.
