My understanding is that instead of millions of people having signed up for Threads, if you were already a client on one of the other platforms then your name was automatically ported over to Threads to generate the illusion that you signed up. So in other words Zuckerberg is conning his investors.
Sounds like a deep fake set up, since none of those people know about the accounts all of them can be used to make it appear they all vote democrat, support the woke agenda and any other kind of evil they can think up
