The “4th of July” still triggers the Marxist left and it is a date associated with the declaration of Independence. Also calling it the 4th of July makes it harder for them to move it around for the bank and governments convenience. We declared our independence on the 4th of July and that is when it should be celebrated regardless of what day it falls on.

I agree with you there on the date that the holiday needs to be celebrated. My problem is with a whole lot of people who do not understand why we celebrate that day, and the history behind it.

Yes, they don’t care to appreciate what they have and why they have it and the schools teaches them to hate or deny it.
