yuh (this is pt1) p.s. read desc | STORYB; 401 returned from her job, exhausted. She had been forced to get one after Inkmatas kicked her out because of her... "problems".
401 flopped down on her couch, her headache getting worse. It started in the morning and unfortunately hadn't passed since then. It made it hard to concentrate on work while her head was blazing in pain.
The pain increased again. 401 groaned and pushed the pillow to her head in hopes of easing the headache, seeing as no other methods worked. As she expected, neither did this.
'What do I do...?' She thought to herself, rubbing her temples simultaneously.
'I've tried everything, and yet it won't stop.' Just thinking was making her head hurt.
401 decided to get up and prepare herself a glass of cold water. Maybe that could help even a little.
--
She was pouring water into a glass cup when her headache flared. She dropped the cup, not being able to focus on anything else. It shattered into many pieces as her knees fell to the floor. She clutched her head in pain, not noticing her bleeding knees as the glass cut her.
She could barely make out her surroundings, what with all the confusion clouding in her head clouding her senses.
She struggled to get a hand on the counter to stabilize herself. Sweat was now dripping down her forehead, caused by the strange migraine. The throb rose abruptly, then died out just as quickly.
401 rested for a moment before daring to move.
"What... What was that?" She audibly asked herself. She'd never experienced something like this before. It was too intense to be a mere headache...
Her eyes took a look at the blood coming from her knees.
401 was about to remove the glass shards when the same pain returned, only worse. This time, it felt like her skin was splitting apart on her forehead, just above her eyes.
But more blood running down her face proved it was real. | image tagged in shadow glare | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
