According to different measures of educational attainment and university quality, the three least educated states in the U.S. are West Virginia, Mississippi, and Arkansas. West Virginia ranks last for both high school and Bachelor’s degree holders, and has the fourth-lowest average university quality. Mississippi has the third-lowest percentage of high school graduates, and Montana has the lowest average university quality. The least educated states are mainly in the South.

Which of the two major political parties controls these states? Which party is most likely to be in charge of the educational systems in these states? Are these questions too tough for you?

LMAO... a college education isn't what it used to be Larry... ask all those libs with worthless degrees and mountains of student debt begging for a government handout...

I am lucky. I graduated from High School in the Summer of 1966. Reagan was not Governor, yet. Any California high school grad who had the grades could get a four-year degree almost free. Books and fees were the only costs. My first semester cost $6 for fees and $100 for books. Reagan had a Vendetta against students at Berkeley. His petty gripe about their demonstrations against him, put an end to free college degrees in California. Americans used to place a premium on an educated workforce. Now, too many value labels.
