Soon... Two figures appeared...

The first formed from blue light, and was seemingly the same height as inkmatas.

The second formed from purple light, and was seemingly the same height as the collector.

Both collector and void were astonished at what they were seeing, neither of them expected to see both crystals acting on their own accord

Soon the light faded, and collector and void could get a better look at the two

The first being spoke

???: Ah, it feels good to finally move again! How about you?

The second remained silent, almost looking confused about what had just happened

Collector was fatigued after being forced out of his 100% form without regenerating from the damage he took, he was covered in wounds, And likely had some internal bleeding.

But void did not give up, he used the last of his power to fire a purple beam at the smaller of the two beings, attempting to break the balance and end the timeline in one swift move.

But at the last second, collector blocked the attack with his sword. Just as the light faded from it, and his power was gone.

Just after this he collapsed to the ground.

??? (Tall): I remember you... You abused my power... I WILL NOT BE CONTROLLED ANYMORE

He was about to charge up an attack and destroy void in his weakened state, but the other stopped him

??? (Smol): I have a better idea.

She pulled void towards her with blue light, and put her hand on his chest

??? (Smol): you have simply been corrupted by power. Allow me to fix this.

In a flash of light, void was turned into a circle with a tophat, almost like the ones commonly seen in the shapeverse. His face was no longer lifeless, and his determination had faded away.

A portal was opened that lead to the shapeverse

??? (Smol): live the life you should have had.

Void, if you could call him that anymore, walked through the portal and it was closed behind him.

??? (Tall): you should've let me kill him when I had the chance.

??? (Smol): bloodthirsty as usual.

She turned to the Collector and remembered he was greatly wounded

Within a few minutes collector awoke fully healed, with Astra, inku, the devourer, and the two new beings standing around him

Collector: ... Where... Am I?

Astra: you're on the fractured planet

Collector: ... WAIT! VOID!! THE CRYSTALS!!! WHAT HAPPENED???

??? (Smol): he is in a better place now.

??? (Tall): would've been in an even better place if you had let me take care of him.

Collector: ... Who are you?

??? (Smol): I am creatie, or as you previously knew me, the crystal of creation.

??? (Tall): I am tsar. The crystal of destruction.

Collector: you're... Alive?

Creatie: always have been. Imagine our crystal forms as sort of a... Forced hibernation.

Collector: I... Still don't understand.

Creatie: then allow me to tell you how the multiverse REALLY started.

Unlike your legends, which I witnessed in an almost dream-like state, it did NOT start with two crystals. It started with an empty void, with no rules, no matter, just nothingness.

Until eventually, we came into existence. The first beings to ever exist. But y'know what the first thing we did was?

Fought each other like our lives depended on it.

We didn't know if the other was a threat or not.

We... Didn't exactly KNOW anything.

Eventually we realized that fighting didn't really do much. We were both immune to each other's attacks.

Eventually we developed a language

I learned I could create matter at will, which I used to create small planets but nothing really larger than that.

They were always lifeless. Barren. Nothing to do but talk to each other.

Tsar viewed it as peaceful, but I viewed it as lonely.

Eventually he finally understood what I meant, and we tried to create someone else, someone new.

But all we ended up with was a dark blue crystal neither of us could put a dent into. So I just yeeted it into the void knowing it probably wouldn't do anything.

I eventually learned to make more complex materials, and we decided to make something big. Bigger than I had ever even dreamed of making.

I used my power to make a condensed ball of matter, that could become any material imaginable. But using it would come at a cost.

I knew I would likely be extremely tired after creating it, so I told tsar to hit it in a very specific spot to make it explode. Meaning that all of the material would be sent flying in all directions, causing new planets, and possibly even new life to be made.

So, I made the ball, then fell unconscious. Judging by what happened just a few moments ago the same happened to tsar after he made the sphere explode.

And it seems to have worked! Look around- wait... Why is everything dead?

Collector: that is something that wasn't explained in the legends. Creator found the crystal of creation, void found destruction, then after they fought creator sent the two crystals away. Hoping they would never be found again. Destruction landed here. Killing everything in this universe, but not others. Creation, you, landed in my universe. Or more accurately my chest. It hurt like hell but it saved my life since my planet was about to be destroyed.

Creatie: did you... Save it?

Collector: no. As soon as you hit me I was sent through a portal, and my planet was destroyed shortly after.

Creatie put her hand on the collector's shoulder

Creatie: I'm sorry for what happened, but I'm glad you were the one I landed on.

Astra: so you don't notice the giant space lizard standing RIGHT HERE?

Collector looks up and sees the devourer and slightly jumps

Collector: why is that THING here.

Astra: I tamed it!

Collector: ... I'm not even gonna ask how.

Astra: well if you're ever curious...

Creatie looked up at the devourer in astonishment, wondering how a creature of such large size could exist

Meanwhile the exotic creator orbited around the planet along with several chunks of debris, his systems had finally come back online

He looked at the planet and saw that the energy field was gone, and that two strange new beings were on the surface along with several he was familiar with. He could finally get the power source he needed.

He launched off of the debris, knowing the planet's gravity was likely low enough he could survive the impact.

Astra seemed to be the only one to notice this

Astra: EC!

She immediately jumped into the sky leaving everyone wondering what just happened

She caught him by the leg

EC: you do acknowledge this jump was a calculated risk, right?

Astra: uhh... Well now it isn't a risk!

She glided down to the ground keeping a good grip on him.

Collector: I thought I saw something familiar at the start of the fight.

EC: ah, so you did see me.

Astra: wait, why are you here?

EC: I am here to have a promise fulfilled.

Tsar: ... so you're the one I was speaking to.

Collector: what?

Tsar: you learn some really weird stuff when you're alone on a dead planet for thousands of years.

Collector: ... Huh?

EC: he was sending me transmissions. Instructions for how to free him. In exchange, he would give me a power source for something I've been working on.

Collector: I better not find you blowing up planets.

EC: and you won't.

Tsar opened a portal and the two of them walked through

Inku: ... Did everyone just forget I'm here?

Collector: Dr.Evil-ish clearly did.

Inku: who?

Collector: it doesn't matter, We should get you home.

Collector attempted to open a portal but forgot he no longer had the power of creation

Creatie: allow me. I am familiar with the places you visit often.

Creatie SUCCESSFULLY opened a portal, and everyone stayed at inky's home for a bit to process what had just happened. As for the devourer, it didn't have anywhere to go. So it simply went to a red dwarf, and took a nap in it's warmth.

Collector: so? Of course there's gonna be a 4th wall break every once in a while.

The Traveler: I can send you into the real world, i wont be able to bring you back though
