Why did we ever believe that they read Orwell? | Why do you cite George Orwell when you're arguing against his novel "Animal Farm" where he allegorically makes a case for that very argument? Do you not remember the Horse? HA! STUPID LIBERAL SAYING "COMMUNISM/SOCIALISM HASN'T BEEN TRULY TRIED." ORWELL WARNED US ABOUT YOU. ERROR 404 - DATA NOT FOUND; It's okay, we know you didn't actually read his works. You simply do the thing he warned us about, cherry pick quotes without understanding context to fit your narrative. I often think about animal farm. I feel like the mule most days and despite what many may think, I see many on the Maga side as the horse. Worked to death and never rewarded, except to be sold to slaughter.

Or actually, I can't remember. I think I was referring to it that way as well. Either way, it wasn't allegorical to us so much as he was writing on the changes happening in Russia and the various models of communism under those leaders. The people thought it was a good idea, went for it, and people with power took over and sabotaged the soul of that ideology with authoritarianism, giving anyone who doesn't understand political science PTSD of anything that remotely sounds Marxist generational PTSD, when blaming Marx for the Russian versions of Communism is like blaming the manufacturer for the mass shootings. So, that means you either regulate the guns being manufactured (American socialism) to be safer. Or you hold the manufacturer responsible (Which MAGA is also doing, in spite of enjoying American Socialism while also wanting to remove it. Granted, there are some people who are aware of it, and they want all social programs, and all taxes gone so they won't have to pay taxes. I think this is a naive approach and that is legitimate extremism. America is more Right Wing than not when it comes to government-sponsored programs. And they're scared we're going more left?

Oi...

That's all of us. In this allegory, the horse is now two separate beings, or horses. Or, you could say there's now double the pigs representing different ideologies.

But, IIRC, I think the book actually addresses this in some similar fashion, though not as off the nose.
