But every time something bad is averted, someone you know has the bad thing happen to them. Since nothing bad happens to you, they cannot tell you and you will never know since bad things can be categorized as physical and emotional pain. You will forever be with this burden, but now that you know about it you will feel numb because bad things have no effect on you.

Yea, but the people will hate you. However, the guilt of doing so will not be felt. Since you would automatically have this problem you have become a monster and no one will want to have contact. You will feel no pain, though, so you might not care. Or maybe, they CAN’T leave because it would cause you pain. That’s pretty messed up tbh

Dying being a bad thing is more of a social construct. In nature, it’s part of the life cycle. Maybe the pain would be gone, but you’d probably still live normally. If you had a fear of being broke, maybe you’d just randomly get money. That’d be sick
