He didn't know what to do, he knew Collecter would probably say no, so he wanted to secretly duplicate it before putting the original back without you ever knowing. You found out and he didn't know what to do, so he ran.

A couple days ago I had an rp with him where Astra tasted food for the first time, and it was really wholesome. now we're having one where eggy somehow hacked into Astra's system and uploaded a ton of r34, and is hacking into Collector's social media accounts and is trying to post racial slurs on them. But he forgot collector still has the systems he used to wipe the videos of eggy and omi off the internet, which he's currently using to stop anything eggy does almost immediately after he does it. And he has a copy of the video he was gonna use in court but now is threatening to use as blackmail. Luckily this rp isn't canon.
