I like to remind them that settled science says over 20,000 years ago 15,000 feet of ice sat atop what is now New York City’s Central Park. This is evidenced by glacial striations in exposed boulders in the park.
Then I ask them, “Are you telling me it all melted because cavemen were driving Hummers?”
The silence is awesome!
