Good question. The answer should be as following, but will not be for many:

Furries are generally degenerates. This is plainly true, and can be observed simply by examining the furry community. The vast majority of furries are addicted to pornography, and most of those don't even want to stop viewing it. A significant portion draw pornography, which is a level of evil that it is hard to process. Both the drawer and the viewer lose, indeed making it a classic 'Stupid' thing that detracts from society (see attached image). It also shouldn't go unmentioned that there are portions of the furries that are attracted to animals or children. Even if you'll protest and say 'I'm not one!' or 'I don't support them!', you must admit that there are many people who do support and enable these people within the furries.

For a few of these reasons and a few more, being a furry should not be a tolerable thing. I touched on this in the previous paragraph, but I'll go more indepth as to why furries are 'Stupid' in Carlo Cippola's theory of stupidity. Watching Pornography is self-destructive behavior in and of itself for one. Plus, they will detract from society by being public nuisances. This might sound outlandish, but is not wearing a fursuit in public a nuisance to the public? Along with that, there's also the broader topic of furries being victims of a conspiracy to weaken the populace, but I
won't go into that here.

They're everywhere. It's physically impossible to avoid them.

First, have you ever seen that furry population density diagram of the world? As a German, it is a bit difficult to avoid them. This also applies to the internet, although there is not much german furry content available online, not even on areas below the surface web.
Then there is the isdue of uprisings. It can be compated to a nuclear explosion. One posts a thing, and after a while, millions of posts are found on social media.

Summed up, we do not avoid them because it is basically impossible to do so.

I am not planning to move away. Had one on the side of the road at one point. The reaction when the sprinklers activated was priceless.
The strategy is simple: Higher density means that there is only a small area which has to be affected by countermeasures to have the same effect as a large area with low density.

thought furries got outlawed in germany

I heard of that, but it is still an area with high risk of conversion. Saw someone furry expressions very recently (Hand movement, noise etc.). Just because it is forbidden does not mean everyone follows it, unfortunately.

I jist did a bit of research. Turns out furries on their own are not illegal, but fursuits and zoophilia very much are. So at least we got that.
