Know your chain of command. Who isn the commander in chief? That is all you need to know. It is not that fomplicated as you are trying to make it sound. BTW the 2 toughest MOS in the Marines are 0300's looking at 0321 and 3381. You never had the luxury of working a 12~16 hours day shift at Hell's Kitchen San Diego.
