Imagine how much crying there would be if endgame ended like this (2nd version): after iron Man snapped, Thanos slowly rises, stares spider-man in the eyes, snaps and everything changes. Now, they are in a destroyed place on the planet, but they didn't do any of the damage, and the only damage that happened from this fight was iron man's death, even though he didn't die from the snap, Thanos killed him. Then a black screen shows, and Thanos snaps again. Everyone knows what happened, even though they didn't see it. After one minute of complete silence in the cinema and completely black screen, it shows spider Man in his class, watching another Captain America pep talk. But, it's not a pep talk, it's an announcement. It says "I have to make and announcement. Look around your class. Count the empty seats. Ask yourself "Why am I here and not them?". When school ends, go into your grandparents' house. If you see them there, hug them and tell them "I am happy you are here". Because it's over. We are sorry to tell you this, but there's no coming back. We failed. We failed in the worst way, and there's nothing we can do about it." He looks at the floor, takes a deep breath, and continues "Thanos won, and his win is permanent. That video you are watching, it's an epilogue. Goodbye. I know, we can't quit know, but if we keep fighting, each time the damage will be worse and worse. We have to accept this loss, and continue our life with that loss, whether it's big or not. I hope you understand." Black screen again. But, it doesn't show the credits, it shows another announcemen " Every other project that we have announced are delayed indefinitely" and everyone on the cinema realises, that it's over for Marvel itself, and endgame was Marvel's epilogue, and after all those years, it finally came to an end. Not a happy end, but at least an end that had it's own beauty, a masterful end, that didn't lead to Marvel's superheroes getting ruined just so some multimillionaires can make even more money. It had a real end, a full stop.
