Upvoted! Even the Greens in Australia are capitalist, yet believe in high taxes, big government, and their number one priority at the moment being fixing the housing crisis by implementing rental freezes, and rolling out more public housing.

Many American Republicans go on about how universal Healthcare, affordable housing, parental leave, etc. is "socialism" but many right-leaning politicians of countries that have these programs are for these programs and are also pro-tax cuts and pro-free market. These Republicans in America seem to be more like libertarian anarcho-capitalist types yet despite claiming to be pro-free market, the Republicans are also guilty of raising taxes and wasteful government spending as much as the Democrats. European rightists seem to be more pro-free market than the Republicans yet they are also for the social welfare programs. Many on the left point to countries like Denmark as prime examples of "working socialism" but the left don't realize that Denmark, Singapore, Switzerland, etc. are more free-market than America and many of the social welfare programs are privatized to an extent, the Healthcare systems of these countries are what are called 'multi-payer' Healthcare systems which have both government Healthcare services and insurance and private Healthcare providers and insurance companies.

America just seems to have the culture of being more classically liberal (meaning very small on government intervention with the economy). Yet we wonder why America's economy failed under many governments, hence a debt crisis brewed under Biden.

I don't blame Biden for the debt crisis, but I certainly blame the predecessors, especially Trump. Even Obama didn't do much on America's minimum wage. The last minimum wage hike was under Obama in July 2009 (almost 14 years).

To add to your point on how these supposed liberal countries being "socialist" means they're actually capitalist, having a high minimum wage does nothing to make a country capitalist or socialist, it'll just mean that there'd be fairer wages for minimum wage workers, which means more regulations on their workforce, not necessarily government ownership.

Socialism is when the government own more things than the private market does.

It is awfully rich of Republicans to go calling people "socialists" when the Republicans themselves haven't been exactly 'fiscally conservatives' as they claim to be for they are guilty of all sorts of wasteful overblown military spending. Also you are right, having more proper protections for workers isn't 'socialism'. I've debated a lot of libertarian/ancap types who were against worker's rights protections and argued that such protections were the same thing as socialism or communism and "undermining the free market". I am for worker/labor union protections so workers can be paid a livable and many libertarians I would debate would act like those kinds of policies are "evil socialism" and "violating people's freedom" they would call me all sorts of horrible things like "communist", "socialist theif", "anti-freedom", "economically illiterate" and even "retarded" those people can be just as bad as leftist sjws who call everyone to the right of Karl Marx a nazi. Also many countries like Denmark don't actually have minimum wage laws, they actually have stronger labor union protection laws that allow labor unions to bargain for better wages for the workers.
