This constant fixation on categorizing people by race, sectioning them by such, maligning them, then ignoring them as something separate and a hindrance that must ignored, serves the cause of divisiveness it so hard strives to cater to.

By treating people as an "other" and shunting them, you can't be that suprised when they shunt themslves along to elsewhere where they're not treated as some sort of obtrusive apendage to be lopped off as the GOP revels in doing.

To be surprised that this approach works only too well as it backfires on itself makes no sense. Sometimes people succeed in the division that they sow.

The GOP does this to appeal to the throngs of malcontents who believe their own shortcomings are due to others, and that the remedy for their perpetual failure is that resources are channelled soley towards them. Of course this has never worked, but if only just a little bit more...

Oh, right. Because your pitch is that their problems aren't real and if they vote for you, they'll really stick it to the people who are trying to address them how dare they.

The Democrats have been pandering to certain demographics for over a century. How has that helped anyone? All it has done is indebted certain groups to the Democrats, keeping certain voters under the Democrats' control. How long until these people are helped out of their circumstances by the left? One century obviously wasn't enough. Will it take 2 centuries or more? Probably not until the Democrats no longer need their votes.

People of all races need government assistance from time to time. The left's pandering and race baiting isn't assistance. It's meant to be divisive. It's meant to keep certain groups voting for the left in perpetuity. And convincing certain groups that they aren't competent and intelligent enough to succeed in life on their own like white people can is incredibly racist.

I stated that people of all races use government assistance.
The part you referenced is included in the mental tactic of focusing on race that the left uses to make non-Caucasians feel oppressed and dependant on democratic politicians/leftist government. I wasn't saying that anyone in the comments stated this.

I don't have the statistics at hand, but I thought that whites have the highest percentage on government assistance in the US, probably due to whites being highest in population in the nation. I'm not sure if you're confusing the meme or anything I've stated as being anti-assistance. That's not what I said or meant. Assistance is there for those who temporarily need it and the small minority of citizens who need full time assistance. The meme isn't faulting people who need assistance. It, again, discusses the left's mental tactics regarding convincing US minorities of lower incomes that they need to depend on leftist government to survive -this is done by any means necessary -saying that "republicans are evil and hate them and don't want to help them, only the nice democrats are on their side" or that they can't make it on their own in the USA for different reasons.

This quote from above which twisted my words seems to prove that the left's helping the less fortunate isn't about altruism and instead is about winning votes and staying in power, which is what the meme is about.

How do you not know what a percentage is!!!!!! It's a ratio of their population. Population is already accounted for in the fact that it is a percentage to begin with.
