I rather enjoy discussion on a stream that's the closest to not being an echo-chamber. Instead of discussing gender roles and expression in LGBTQ, where a user with different views would get banned is not quite cool. Discussing the same subject in an "anti" stream also seems uncool.

Any stream has the right to allow or disallow any kind of content, they don't need to have a reason.

I, personally, don't love the LGBTQ's way of moderating. It's not a "safe place" if it disapproves jokes. I can't take it seriously if it disapproves jokes and differing opinions. I have never seen a productive argument between two people with different opinions in LGBTQ- because the other guy is always banned for not agreeing unconditionally.

There is. It’s called Politics. You’re allowed to comment and post whatever you want on there without getting disapproved. Just because there are more conservatives than liberals on there doesn’t make it biased.

A site that allows HomoGood as a username, should ideally allow HomoBad as a username. None of these usernames when taken, have any effect on a real ideology, but their possibility gives every kind of person a means to express themselves. That, I think, is one of the nobler purposes of the interwebz.
