Photoshopping your face onto somebody else's work is "incredible artwork"?

I know. And what I found so ridiculous was that if you bought 1 of this nearly $100 cards, you had nothing tangible to even show for it. If I am spending $100 or just even a nickel, I want something that I can hold in my hand. And, how do these images pertain to trumps life and career? Did not realize that he was an astronaut, a race car driver, was once in the military, was/is Superman⁉️‼️ 😂

Look what trump has turned our country into... a bunch of ignorant racist maga thugs. Familiar and friends turning on each other just because some of them have the audacity to not support this buffoon.
I saw an interview with a maga man that when confronted with actually having read the indictments, he clearly said that he didn't want to! Yes, to admit that he and all these maga repubs were fooled by one of the greatest con man of the century! I am ashamed of what my country has become, the "United States of king trump"! I mean, seriously, these idiots wanted to lynch the vice president and hang him from the gallows! And, until trump is in jail or ⚰️ these thug cultists will not go away! I want to live in another country, not here where IF trump is re-elected, our country will fall or become "The United States of king trump", a country where racism, dissension, discord, violence, murders, HATE, censorship reign supreme. God help us all!🙏

He hasn't turned it into that, it always has been. He merely allowed them to be themselves.

These people didn't become racists overnight. Republican politicians didn't suddenly have unruly fascistic mob desires. Newt Gingrich got them started on that trajectory. Like Karens, troublemaking passengers on planes, rioters, and shooters, etc, these things aren't new, but they boomed starting in 2016. There were concerns this would happen during Reagan. We heard officials secretly talking this way with Nixon on tape.

I joke my mailman was Alt Right before Alt Right was a thing - and he was, even before George W was elected (we used to talk politics quite a bit). An ex of mine was like this in the 90s. Big part of the reason I wouldn't marry her. Back then they hated others because they hated themselves. And now they're Trumpers. Not a surprise that his base have a deep dissatisfaction with themselves and have always sought something bigger than themselves to latch on to in order to compensate for it. Not an accident that they're so full of anger and hate.
Ever notice that none ever express any joy? Never - not in 2016, not in 2017, not now. Never. Trump is a vector for them to express how much life disgusts them because they can't stand themselves, and rightfully so.

I had heard about how the genealogy of WT can be traced to those roots a over year ago, actually, and how they've kept true to type over the centuries.
That article I posted the link for I bumped into just a few weeks ago, and goes into more detail about them from roots in Britain to migration throughout the US. Interesting stuff, and explains a lot.

Search "leightonwoodhouse substack black" and it should turn up.

Anyways, from that and another source I heard last year, basically, what folks call "Wh*** Tr***" in the US are people descended from poor rebellious criminal types that originated in the borderlands between England and Scotland brought here as penal colonists. Many settled in Appalachia going south, and have displayed criminal & violent tendencies (esp w/guns) as well as terminal unemployment or lack of upward mobility ever since. Granted, Appalachia is somewhat limited in opportunities, but we still see them this way after they later radiated westward in the 1800s and then north in the 1900s.
You can literally trace this specific demographic back to those roots four centuries ago. It isn't just some style picked up by the less ambitious in them states. The culture is so ingrained, some have even wondered if these less savory behavior patterns have a genetic component.

Other people settling in that area (such as the descendents of former slaves) immersed in that culture for centuries have also displayed a propensity for such behavior, and when they as well as their WT neighbors migrated to northern cities looking for jobs in the 20th Century, they brought it with them, thus inner cities life subject to much criminality and lack of aspiration.

No need to point of that most people at MAGAt rallies and Jan 6th rioters have a certain 'look' we're all too familiar with. Trumpers, as with much of the GOP base, are all too typical of this recognizable ilk. Trump has managed to tap into them, telling them what they've always wanted to hear, allowing them to feel they can be their real selves. He didn't make them be this way, he simply unleashed them from the yoke of civility society has imposed upon them, a society they have no qualms expessing their disdain for. He made it ok to be W**** T**** in the most negative way they can.

Hey, revisiting this post because I think there is a deeper level to this. There is a very Hatfield McCoy aspect to this that goes back to the revolutionary war. Basically as soon as we won the war George Washington turned around and started taxing the Mountain folks and frontier settlers into oblivion and started shutting down moonshine operations that wouldn’t pay. I wonder why they don’t teach that in America history.

Wow, that makes sense. I think I dated a descendant of one of those clans for a while. This person and their siblings were named after their fathers favorite drugs. Lots of fun. It was going well until they banged my friend next door and robbed me.

Thanks,

It was a tad brief, but it covers it.

Not Gypsies (Roma), but English and Scottish from the bordelands between where fighting between both countries ensued for centuries. Even their homes were basic simple log cabins, not as big a deal if destroyed nor as hard to build as in more stable areas.
We see the same here, basic shacks not built for endurance.

The article I posted a link for mentions Hatfield/McCoy as such rivalries were typical of these people going way back to their roots in Britain. Grudges as well 'dispensing justice' on their own rather than relying on the proper authorities to do so, whom they looked at with disdain and distrust to begin with.

Hence the propensity for violence and criminality - basic shoot-now-and-ask-why-later approach. This pattern of behavior traveled with them when they migrated to northern cities in the 20th century, seeding this culture of violence in ghettos and thus becoming typical of street gangs.

YES! I know stuff! They are basically gypsies, that have been misplaced from Europe for centuries. Who knew they would ever rise to such power.

Actually, as ridiculously horrific as it sounds for that pile of audacious silliness, someone actually painted the whole bunch for Trump. Can't help but wonder if the cringe was an unintentional byproduct of silly sincerity, or if the cringe was intended.
