Probably conned someone else to pay for it. He probably didn't even eat there... he just wanted people to pay attention to him

I read of a case (written by a waiter) in a NY restaurant ages ago were Trump arrived with his family just as the place was closing up for the night. Staff was told to stay open just for them, but also not to charge him. They hung around for the longest, the bill exceeded $1000 (that's what the waiter said), and of course, they left without offering to pay. He didn't even leave a tip.

Caught that on tv, was wondering if everyone sounds like that in Miami as they chanted his name and "USA" in an accent (I was gonna print it phonetically, but I once got a timer for "mocking Ebonics" for using Bronx lingo. I'm FROM the Bronx and lived here all but 7 months of my life, and they knew it. On top of that, I was using it to highlight a faker pretending he was one of us when clearly from his bogus descriptions of NYC - including a multitude of trailer parks[!?!] - he's never even set foot here), of course, turned out it was a Cuban restaurant.

Commentator later pointed out the irony of these people fleeing here to escape life under one brutal dictatorship only to cheer on an aspiring one who openly embraces some of the world's most brutally oppressive dictators.
