The case was dropped by the D.A. So the judge you just libeled had nothing to do with it. The D.A. is a Democrat, but she appointed a Republican as "Special Prosecutor," as I recall.
He should have checked the gun to make sure it was unloaded. The D.A. can still file something against him and should. Too many people treat guns like toys. Too often tragedies, like Ms. Hutchins' death are the result.
