Sweden is known for being the most left-leaning government in the EU but right-wing populist movements are gaining traction there too. Jimmie Akesson is a prominent leader of one of these movements and one of the reasons why such movements are becoming popular in Sweden is because many believe that the leftist governments of Sweden have been too liberal on immigration therefore they want stricter immigration policies.

Sweden's right-wing populist party known as the "Democrats" (not to be confused with the U.S. Democrats) formed a governing coalition with the center-right Moderate party of Sweden. Until today, I didn't know Sweden were right wing too. Finland must have followed Sweden's steps. However Denmark still have Mette Frederiksen as their leader, which she is the leader of the Social Democrats Party (a centre-left party).
