Local multiplayer (or hotseat games) happen to be very fun, not just in the 90's but also now. there are a surprising amount of new games that work this way or an extension of this. gaming history is confusing as it is interesting.

I did not realize it still is happening. It is cool to get together and play games.

No, it is cool that you remember this. I did not not have a lot of money so I played older recycled games all the time. I could play newer stuff at other kids houses.

Ah. I remember playing games back in middle school on the site coolmathgames where you need both WASD and arrow keys to play multiplayer or if it's a puzzle game where you need two characters like Waterboy & Firegirl.

It's quite nostalgic to think and remember that those games still exist today and that people, to my surprise, still play them.

God, I haven't played those kinds of games in years.
