Forgiveness

I thought it meant for you to forgive the person and put the pains of the past behind? What are you meant to learn after you forgive them?

It might be because i'm tired, but can you explain what you mean? I don't believe I understand it clearly.

Good question, what I meant was that if you forgive and forget, you might forget what your mistake was that you to apologies for and if you forget what your mistake was, there a possibility you might do it again, so I think it's better to learn from you mistakes then forget them.

Wouldn't it be the other person you're forgiving and forgetting be the one who made the mistake though? Unless it's something like a fight between two people, I guess

Yeah, that was the mean Idea I was going for, like in a situation where both the person who is apologizing and the person who's forgiving him/her is in the wrong, like fighting between 2 people like you mentioned.
