I think they were trying to find z. The weird thing is that they made the equation equal to the other side. You can’t solve anything if they are the exact same, it’s like solving x=x. And you can’t solve an expression so I have no clue what they’re doing. The big long x s looking thing has something to do with calculus which I don’t know but it still doesn’t make any sense.
