An interesting point. I do care about climate change. It mostly won't effect me, but my granddaughters are still young and it will effect them.
I have installed solar panels, but still burn oil to heat my house. I bought a hybrid. It's averaging 55mpg, but I'm still burning gas.
I bought a battery powered lawn mower (love it too), but I still use my rider for most of my acreage.
The property that we keep cleared, we grow areas of wildflowers for the pollinators and I have a garden for fresh veggies, but I have cut down several nut trees (walnut trees suck). Now I am clearing a section for fruit trees, but that is more for my retirement as is my maple sugar trees (I hate maple sugar, but I got about 150 of them, so might has well tap them, but requires burning wood to boil it down.)
