When I see that a meme has disable comments, I immediately think “Now here is a coward who is afraid to have anyone to challenge his or her own ideologies on a public forum & in a public domain.

Aye . . . and then there is their unintentional contribution to comedy in which they ask a question in their meme -- always self-righteously so -- and then disable comments. Usually that bit of unintentional irony is the only thing that turns out to BE humorous about their meme. 95% of the time the person doing that is a liberal/progressive/leftist.

Or maybe it's just because the comments are just plain stupid.

Asking a question with a meme and then disabling comments . . . is both stupid and cowardly.

There's a lot of baiting going on with comments. And it's even more cowardly for a mod to hit somebody with a timer for commenting on a comment.

That probably depends on what was in the reply of the comment on the comment.

It shouldn't matter.
