Its hard to find a balance between giving a kid privacy and letting an idiotic, inexperienced human hide things from the people who's job it is to keep the moron alive and out of trouble. Because kids and teens are f**king idiots. It's universal law

Oh god. Parents need to stop doing this to their kids! When I was younger, about 10 or 11, I used to use an app called houseparty which was basically like discord crossed with zoom and a bit of snapchat. Every F***kin time I put my phone down my mom was on it. Just scrolling through my messages. One day I tried to hide my phone but she yelled at me untill I showed her where it was and the next day I could see that she had gone through every single app (all the tabs were still open). She also made me keep my password to the factory defalt so that she could log in herself wherever it suited her. Now I have serious issues with privacy and trustimg people, I've developed this weird thing were i'm always stressing about people reading my private books/notes or going through my devices. Sorry for how long this was but I really needed to just get that off my chest

Now people install apps and logon to sites doing just that, sharing it with other companies, and gvts demand access to it all. My mom was like that too. We live in a control freak mom world order.

Meh the most invasive my parents get is having an app on my phone that detects for sus stuff and my parents just simply expect to tell me if anything happens

Privacy is a human right people, no one has the right to go through your stuff so technically your parents are partking in illegal activities
