There was a Faberware factory near me way back, and there were big racks of stuff outside for the longest, including rotisserie rods for the oven rusting away. Metal, of course, heavy enough to wallop but light enough for anyone to handle easily, nicely balanced too. So I got some that weren't rusted (the racks were covered) and gave them to my family, an aunt who was staying over as well.
Years later, visiting her in Puerto Rico, I found out she had hers under her car seat just in case. My pa still has his next to his bed. Alas, as I had moved away years ago, don't know what happened to mine.
