Unfortunately it is a thing. Early 20th American Progressives used to praise Hitler along with Mussolini and Stalin. They thought they were the men of the future. Democrats still believe in much of what the Nazi party claimed it was trying to accomplish. Modern Democrats are essentially the modern Nazi party. Both are opposed to capitalism, both are fighting for social justice, both want free education and free healthcare. Both hate Jews and Christians. Both want the government to have complete control over the economy.
Those are not conservative beliefs. Conservatives HATE everything the Nazis stood for and did. We are horrified by the holocaust.
What you really need to understand is who conservatives are before you made stupid memes about them. I use the word conservative because not all Republicans are conservatives. Republican politicians, for the most part, are no different than Democrats (both politicians and voters). Republican voters are mostly conservative but not all of them.
