Reminds me of this earlier Target fiasco:

Target to Install Gender-Neutral Bathrooms in All of Its Stores

Target CEO responds to nationwide boycott of the store over transgender bathroom policy

I haven't been to a Target lately, but I think they only have one bathroom for each sex: just TWO!

At the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, a slideshow named "Woman in U.S. Animation" shows cartoons that shows "imagery that implies sexual assault", including Pepé Le Pew. In March 2021, as a result of controversy surrounding the character, Pepé Le Pew was reported to be removed from modern Warner Bros.

It took me a week, but I just remembered something else that Target did, a long time ago.

They'd had Salvation Army bell ringers in front of their stores for years, but then in 2004 they were banned:
Banning bell ringers backfires
December 3, 2004
https://www.eastbaytimes.com/2004/12/03/banning-bell-ringers-backfires/

TAMPA, Fla. — When Florida was reeling from one hurricane after another during the sum-mer, the Salvation Army was a welcome sight for thousands of storm victims. But with the holidays here, the charity’s bell ringers and red kettles have been barred from Target stores.

Target decided earlier this year it could not permit Salvation Army bell ringers at any of its stores because doing so would be unfair to other charities wanting to solicit shoppers.

Now some shoppers are fuming that the nation’s second-largest retailer would turn away a charity whose bell ringers have long been a symbol of the holiday season.
