Change is happening, and I have personally witnessed it just by staying in one spot for decades. Glad I didn't live in the dustbowl and have the luxury to live with AC, but still have experienced life without both in a climate with 4 brutal seasons. The reality is when you have crop land turning into private islands, and homes every half mile, when homes use to be apart every 10 miles, all the land is going to be over to the masses. The lack of ecology will disappear with the animals. Extinction is inevitable, its just part of the process earth goes through to shake off what it doesn't like to start a new. Makes me personally question the point of existence, and why... But reality is to work the 9 to 5 and participate in a society as a contributing human, with some drive of self sustainability.
