I just saw you say Led Zep is an underrated Metal band on another meme? At least you still remember they were because apparently Heavy Metal started with Sabbath and has nothing to do with Hendrix, and then nothing happened till Metallica & 3 other bands came along with ripped off HC Punk Thrash + better guitar solos, then nothing again till it became dorky Norwegians in B&W makeup who never heard of Kiss and make some horrid incoherent noise but burn churches on Halloween to show how amazingly badass they are.
I'm just so glad people whose parents weren't even born yet when actual Heavy Metal came along have arrived in recent years to correct the misinformation for the misguided ignoramuses who were actually there. I've even heard Zep was a Grunge band. Two decades before Grunge was a thing. I bet their biggest influence was Sound Garden.
