Oh yes, creationists definitely want to reject scientifically proven fact including facts of biology and replace such scientific data with theories soley based on their feelings. Now what other group does that too? I'm thinking of something but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Gender is social and cultural, not biological.

Men and women are not 'social constructs' and you are proving my point and are being extremely hypocritical when you call out creationists for being anti-science but act as anti-science as they are.

Stop conflating biology and sex with gender.

Not conflating, only stating the obvious. And you are only proving yourself to be the left-wing equivalent of a creationist.

With regard to biological sex there are three categories, male, female and intersex. Otherwise, gender is a person’s mental understanding of their own gender identity which might not correspond with the gender they were assigned at birth (based on physical sex characteristics).

You say I am the equivalent of a creationist, creationists favor pseudoscience and put themselves at odds with scientific consensus about evolution. The scientific community overwhelmingly accepts transgender people, every major medical association says they exist and that gender-affirming care is beneficial treatment. I am not at odds with science, you are.

You are at odds with science and spouting made up feelings based 'logic' doesn't make your ideas based on science just because you have a favorable bias. Also intersex is a genetic defect and a few people having femine traits despite being biologically male and a few people having masculine traits despite being biologically female doesn't mean gender is on a spectrum or mean anyone was 'assigned' a gender at birth, listen to the nonsense ideas you are spouting. I having every reason to call bullshit alone the complete distorted nonsense made up "assigned at birth" idea. And a man being not as macho as other man doesn't make him less of a man nor does he have be all macho to prove he is a man and a woman not being as girly as other women doesn't make her less of a woman nor does she have to be all girly to prove she is a woman.

If you are so pro-science then maybe you should listen to this scientific fact: A study from the UK's National Institute for Health and Care Excellence reviews the negative effects of puberty blockers which is what the Swedish National Board of Health cites for their decision to restrict the use of puberty blockers: https://segm.org/NICE_gender_medicine_systematic_review_finds_poor_quality_evidence

This study shows that there isn't strong scientific evidence to support the transitioning of minors and also shows that the effects of puberty blockers are actually irreversible, multiple studies show it: https://www.statnews.com/2017/02/02/lupron-puberty-children-health-problems/

Even the UK'S National Healthcare System admits that the effects of puberty blockers are irreversible and trans surgery isn't 100% satisfactory and they NHS is reviewing the effects of transitioning for the effects of it are very uncertain: https://www.transgendertrend.com/nhs-no-longer-puberty-blockers-reversible/
