Today as reports circulate of a migrant child death in US custody – hours after title 42 is lifted – Biden admin officials forced reporters to submit pre-written questions and ignored FOX’s question on this reported death. https://t.co/CdWRWYkOih

If it was anyone but Dementia Joe, I would simply say... unbelievable.

Which also raises the point that if Trump had tried to force reporters to submit pre-written questions, well, you know... MEDIA MELTDOWN.

Trump does hate the press.

I can't speak for the Tangerine Tornado, obviously, but I would speculate that it's no so much hating the press as an institution, but I would imagine he hates those in the press, who have obviously lost their way (i.e. forgotten what being a journalist means)

As much as I despise the current media, I remember when they were objective, and I at least felt they were relatively trustworthy. Hell, it wasn't all that long ago. Or were my eyes only opened recently, as in way too late?

I think you are right. It is a money grab now. I get my domestic news from Foriegn sources so i can see how the rest of the world reports. It isnt doom and gloom.

Yeah, me too. I watch some foreign sources, but not so much from a straight news standpoint. I like to see their take on what they're reporting. I don't necessarily count on them being any more accurate or objective than domestic news outlets, but I figure the perspective of "journalists" from another country might be interesting and possibly show me another way of looking at a situation than I might otherwise. The 'extra pair of eyes' theory, as applied to news.

I think you'll recall that from your pov, I don't always get it. At least we seem to be able in those times to disagree without (hopefully) degenerating the conversation into typical imgflip nonsense. 👍

Yes sir. I ask alot of questions, with the "already existing model duscussed in the thread", to try to get the other to think about their opinion "if tjey were to go full circle". I am centric person, but got labeled early as a liberal for asking questions fron the start.

Now that we have fleshed out "the other side" through a mature convo, we find mutual respect. We dont have to agrew. But we are closer to each other than prevuously doscovered. 🤜🤛✊
