What are the titles and subject matter of any books that have been banned?



Further, I believe it is parents that are clamoring for the books being removed, not "banned", removed from school libraries and their elected representatives are, as is intended, acting on their behalf.



That's representative democracy at work.



You are both right about one thing, we should be applying more energy to remedying the unaffordability of food in America.  It is only going to get worse.  At the very least you have to accept that prices ain't ever gonna go down.  Right now is a good as it gets.  Serious hunger, starvation does things to a person....physically, mentally, and spiritually.  The average coddled American will not be able to cope.

Removed from school libraries....Not removed from public libraries, Amazon libraries, kindle libraries, internet libraries...they are not banned from public access.

I have to admit I haven't been to a public library for probably 7or 8 years, possibly longer.

When you guys keep closing public libraries so that every trip to the nearest one that's left costs about the same as a book? YES! That was the entire reason we spent so much money opening one in their school in the first place!!!!

I have never closed a public library.  I have never heard of a public library closing.



Why do kids "need" the particular book(s) being removed from school libraries?
