I really like drawing animals, I also really like meeting new people. This fandom has both! I don’t feel judged for my sexuality or looks here, I just get to play the character of a cat online and that’s a really cool escape from my everyday surroundings. :)

I know that my first encounter with anything truly furry was p0rn0gr4ph1c art on deviantart, and I was disgusted. Could be that others had the same experience.
Others might have religious objections.
Still more might just be going along with their friends.
I know there are a lot of immature brats who make both sides look bad.

I guess it depends on which side of “furryism” that people see first… the not-too-bad side or the disgusting side. I’ll ask around the Anti-Furry Society and see.
